Guys,

First of all sorry to write in english, my written French is not so good. However I understand it perfectly so you can answer and discuss this message in French.
I was thinking that because of resource problems (voluntary work) a very good product and idea is stalling.

What I would like to propose to the people interested in this project is a mechanism to finance the work for the software and final testing and production: donations.
The idea is for anyone interested to buy such a thing to be able to donate an amount of money. The sums gathered in this way may be enough to pay some days of intense work from Kiryu and Billou to finalize the project (themselves or using other hired people). In turn, those who donated will can get the final product at a discount. (up to the manufacturing price, that is if somebody donates 500 euros and the manufacturing price is 50 euros, he will get the board at 50 euros and no money back. afterall this is what donations are all about)

I have no doubt about Kiryu and Billou integrity, after all they did a lot of work for free. What it will be needed is to set up a distinct web page with the project, with a way to register, to specify how much they are willing to donate to support the final development and a way to donate money by PayPal once enough people are interested. Once there is enough money, they can take some un-payed holliday days to finalize the work.

If this will be done I'll contribute 100 euros. What do you think?

Florin

Hi and many thanks for your proposal aathanor. I'm glad to see that people are still supporting us in our effort, even if lately we haven't progressed that much because of a lack of free time. Though, it doesn't mean that we are going to stop the project, we all are interested in finishing it, and we will. As I said, Billou, our firmware programmer, had a new job a few month ago, and the amount ow work he has is just not permitting anything else. From what he said, he should get more time to work on the project soon.

The decision will be up to him, but as far as I'm concerned, I lack the programming knowledge to do it.
