Installation de Yellow dans 1bi 450 (Probl. graphique)

Salut,

Ma config : G4 bi 450 mhz giga. ether.
Nvidia 2MX (avec dernier firmware)
Ecran studio dysplay 17" VGA
Yellow Linux 2.3

Chez Yellow, ils disent que la nvidia 2mx est supportée.
J'ai fait toute l'installe sans problème en gui.
A la fin, j'ai choisis moniteur....display 17"....1024X769, ensuite j'ai choisis ledémarrage en mode texte.
J'ai regardé sur le site de yellow comment démarrer le tout, ils disent
Démarrer sur linux (L), ensuite au login : root puis pass:*****
et tapper : startx.
J'ai appliqué cela à la lettre.
Tout ce que j'obtiens est que mon moniteur se met en alerte, hors fréquence.

Que puis je faire pour régler se problème, j'ai rien trouvé de concluant.
